ILSC Chaplaincy

The ILSC chaplaincy offers opportunities to explore various issues around faith, culture, identity and life itself. Through various activities the chaplaincy provides opportunities for fellowship with others as well as a personal approach on an individual basis. Although Lutheran in origin, the Chaplaincy provides an accepting place where everyone is welcome to bring their questions and views of their understanding of spirituality, meaning and identity which can then be explored in a diverse and inclusive environment regardless of religious background or beliefs.

SHARE FRIENDSHIP with other students by joining our events and activities.  Recently we celebrated Chinese New Year by making our own dumplings!

 

                            

JOIN OUTINGS to visit places of historical, cultural and religious significance together such as St Paul's Cathedral as well as Windsor Castle.

   

WORSHIP AND REFLECT with others. On the first Sunday of each month we have a Holy Communion Service and on the third Sunday of the month we gather together for an informal Evening Service. These are accompanied by music and singing.

      

DISCUSS  a range of topics from interfaith conversations to social responsibility and the environment.  Our guest speakers have in the past included a variety of people from a Muslim Imam to a human rights campaigner.
